Finished Fearless Fourteen on the way home tonight and have already got Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day ready to start on Monday - unless a loverly Indian Summer weekend road trip should occur.... Well, my mail doesn't come until later today (it is 0400 am here now), but yesterday I got Fearless Fourteen in the mail, I bought Rise and Shine while buying groceries and my sister brought me Angels in the Gloom as a gift and loaned me her copy of Night Work. Guess that I had better get ... ... and the Hitman (Jennifer Crusie) but not as good. I much prefer Evanovich's "Number" series and will be starting Fearless Fourteen tomorrow. Julie Bertagna has a sequel to Exodus, called Zenith, which is just as good. Another suggestion is Fearless by Tim Lott. John Marsden has continued the 'Tomorrow series' with the Ellie Chronicles, rounding off the series nicely. >117
For a wonder, no car is blown up in Fearless Fourteen. I'm not quite sure how she forgot - there is a vandalized car, but it remains drivable. Another wacky adventure with Stephanie Plum. While it is fun to get updated on the characters, I don't think this series is ... Going to finish Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich today. It's kind of fun, but I think she is no longer hardcover worthy even with the deep discounts.
Next up is White Nights by Anne Cleeves which is an LT Early Review book. It's part of a series, but I don't have time to read ... I finally finished Fearless Fourteen. It didn't seem as cookie cutter as the previous books but it wasn't as good as I had heard. I smiled at a few things but overall Evanovich is beating a soon to be dead horse. I don't regret reading it but I'm getting disappointed. ... along with a bunch of other folks for the Group Reads group and, in a largely unsuccessful attempt to lighten my heart, Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich. ... The first book I have read by J.A. Jance and I will definitely be adding the rest of her collection to my wishlist.

I have read all the novels in the Plum series, and while I enjoyed this particular book, I feel that her writing is getting very ... I completely agree that Evanovich needs to retire Stephanie soon. I have not yet read Fearless Fourteen yet (actually I am several books behind because the series was losing steam), but have heard good things about the latest one, so I will probably try and catch up again. I try not to ... 36. Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich -- nice, quick read. One of her better ones. Yep. Sometimes you just need to clear the palette. The Sharpe series is a great example! And along those lines:

The last few in the series weren't as funny to me, and I thought that Evanovich may be running out of ideas. This one's up to her ... ... this series that it can be turned around. I have had many laughs from theses books and look forward to many more to come. Fearless Fourteen had some good points to it but it still wasn't what the first few were with the amount of laughs. I thought Lean Mean Thirteen wasn't up to par (along with the few before that). The wife's reading Fearless Fourteen now - she got to it before I did - and has woken me up the last several nights laughing at it. So maybe there's hope that the latest is better than the last few? Maybe the story ... ... the last few of her books just don't have the same zeal that they once had. Don't get me wrong Lean Mean Thirteen and Fearless Fourteen both had some laughs but not that same laugh out loud humor that were customed to having with these books. Now reading Fearless Fourteen for a quick giggle.

I agree with many of the other reviewers of this book. It seems like Janet Evanovich just keeps churning out more books to milk the cash cow some more. She has not allowed her characters to develop. ... ... Alice at the moment. One I take wherever I'm going (just finished this one)The Woman Who Can't Forget - next will be Fearless Fourteen. One in the "library" Mary McGreevy. Sometimes I have to forgo a book after I've started it Inside Inside because the hardback is too heavy to carry ... ... It seemed if you have trouble with the "jumping around" the reader couldn't keep track of the story.
I am about to start Fearless Fourteen since it is due at the library tomorrow. I also am in varying stages of Inside Inside, The Pillars of the Earth, The Best American Short Stories of ... ... first book I have read by J.A. Jance and I will definitely be adding the rest of her collection to my wishlist.

Bought and started Fearless Fourteen yesterday last one of these that I am going to read for awhile. I think next I will either start a classic or another ARC we shall see how im feeling at that time. ... the last word on the last page of the 13th, and i forgot to include it! Sheesh.
