Hi, there. Consider it a rating in progress; I haven't finished the book yet, and while I appreciate the concept and the writing, it doesn't keep my attention for more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time. I think when I've completed the book I'll look back on it in its entirety and say, "that was good," but for now I'm a little lukewarm.

Noticed you were/are looking for older mysteries. How hardboiled do you want? I am working my way through France and Richard Lockridge's "Mr. & Mrs. North series (1930s to early 1960s). They are definitely not the hardboiled type but are fun nonetheless. As I finish one it goes up on BM. Let me know if you are interested in any of them.
