GrupperARC Junkies, Livejournalers

Om meg I'm a 23-year-old girl who lives in Philadelphia with her boyfriend and the tiny tiger kitten we rescued just over a year ago, Madeline. When I'm not with my little family I'm finishing up my degree in Magazine Journalism at Temple University and working as a Copy Editor at THE coolest magazine in Philly, two.one.five Magazine [www.215mag.com].

Other than that I enjoy tattoos, piercings, cute things, makeup and bright/shiny stuff [especially glitter]. But of course, my greatest loves are books and magazines. :)

Om biblioteket mitt My taste in pretty much everything is random, including my taste in books. Beware!

I've enjoyed looking through your library. I work in a bookstore and like to see what people are buying/reading. It's interesting to see your diverse library in relation to your age and the generation you've grown up in. I'm glad to see that you read The Chronicles of Narnia and that it was such a good experience for you. I remember a 5th grade teacher who used to read to us and I never forgot which books he read (The Cricket in Times Square, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlotte's Web, The Secret Garden, and A Tale of Two Cities). When he read to us it was magical. Though I recently reread The Cricket in Times Square and it wasn't as magical. Oh well.
Have you also read One Flew Under the Cuckoo's Nest?
Just read your review on This Book Will Save Your Life - agreed with the point you made about waiting for the plot to begin. The turning point for me was when he went on the meditation course - I found it amusing and from that point on settled into the book better and started to like the character more.
