Om biblioteket mitt The goal for my catalog is to include everything that I've ever read, as well as the books (ever increasing in number) in my house that I'm expecting to read. For many years I've kept records of books that I've read in various journals that are scattered around here and there, and thought that it would be fun to have a list in one place.

I try to assign one tag only. As a librarian, I don't want to get involved with a long controlled vocabulary for tags! If I have read a book, I rate it, unless I can't remember it, which happens too. I've read a lot in my long life. I'm in the process of adding asterisks to the tags of books that I have definitely read. I'm also adding the tag X to books that I owned when starting this list that I have since sold or donated.

I started by including children's books, but realized that I'll never remember all of them. I also have a brief 'movie list' started in July.

Library Thing has become somewhat of an obsession with me. I love to add more books and to look at other people's libraries and reviews.

One thing I notice is that there are a lot of books that I read many years ago and would like to read again. So many books, so little time.
