Om megI'm a bit like an echidna in that I'm Australian, was cute when I was younger, like to eat my carrots raw and definitely have my prickly moments!

Om biblioteket mittMy library is organised on LibraryThing by tags, to show my books alphabetically by author, and in series order; all the books I physically own...and now with the help of collections those I have read, but recently parted with. I have trouble finding shelf space for all these series of fantasy, science fiction and crime, plus contemporary and classic works of literature, that I continually, and obsessively, add to. And it has not been helped by a recent penchant for Man Booker listed books - and subsequently all the other works written by these authors.

I sort my catalogue by tags. (If there are errors in my catalogue please help me to fix them.)

Yay! I thought for sure we wouldn't get a response! I am so excited! Of course I will wait. Thank so much and happy holidays to you too!
I forgot the MWAH!
Lyn,
You sweet, sweet thing! Thank you so much for my "Oz Kitch" - the keychain is the best, and the bookmark? Love it! 'Course the most special part of the whole thing was your good wishes and kind thoughts. Thanks so much :)

(is your handwriting always so neat, or were you on your best behaviour, for me?).

Hugs,
Michelle
Lyn,
I see she now doesn't have any books listed but it doesn't say she's on vacation or anything. She said she was a YA Reviewer or maybe just a YA?? Thanks again for trying.Am looking forward to American Gods!
Thanks so much,
Susie
Thanks for trying..I think I would click abuse first it was delayed then reserved for someone else how does that work??Thanks so much for American Gods!I will pop over there and mooch it right now!Again thanks for trying!
Susie
Lyn,
You poor thing- SantaThing shouldn't cause you agony! Now I'm intrigued to learn about pressie #2, but really as long as it isn't some kind of Christian erotic western thriller, I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. Though come to think of it, a Christian erotic western thriller would be so difficult to write that reading one might be an enjoyable experience...
Colleen
Thanks lets wait and see if she keeps her end of the bargain! Thanks so much!I see your getting Birth of Venus I finished that last month its a good book!
Santa Santa Santa...
I got The Man Who Loved Books Too Much today- what a perfect selection!

Thank you- I can't wait for package #2!
Colleen
The Birth of Venus is listed on BM and reserved for you! It is in very good condition.
I mean, for no reason other than just that I wanted to.

Hope you are well. Are the holidays keeping you crazy-busy as they are me?

Michelle
Sorry - it's just cuz.

M.
Lyn,
I'm just here to say "muwh! muwh!"

(I have no idea if that is how it's spelled - I'm trying to air kiss you!)

Michelle

Not the best time of the year for reading, especially here in Cape Town where the weather is belatedly warming up. Also there are presents to be bought (for the grandchildren), concerts and jollifications to attend. I am trying to tan my body to impress my pale relations back in UK, where I am returning in a week's time.
See the update of my profile plus recent books added - I will be grateful for any comments you might vouchsafe.
David
Eeep !!!

Have I really not been on LT for over a week (gasp!!!). Once again December is the silly season for my dept and I am busier than a bricklayer in Bagdhad :)

It seems from the comments that Abby has ordered 'The First Samurai' by Karl Friday - which I have in my collection but have not yet read.

I think it was a good choice, based on what I have browsed. If Calm is still looking then my other suggestions are 'After Tamerlane' by John Darwin or 'Tip and Run' by Edward Paice. These were fascinating.

I just finished 'The First Boxer' by Christopher Ride - avoid it. :(

Have a wonderful Xmas

Cheers
Snarky? What!! Me??!!

Crying Tree was an Amazon Vine review book.

Recommend City of Thieves too (a BG read) I think you'd enjoy that. Set in Lenningrad in WWII with a serious message and a sense of humour too. Apparently based on thr author's grandad. I thought it was a bit unbelievable so knowing it was based on truth put a whole new slant on it!

Sorry I didn't acknowledge your card last year - slap wrists! It was a very nice thought.

We have finally decided on a house. It's a bit of a compromise but it's a nice place with loads of wardrobes and a reasonable garden. Quite pretty but perhaps a little dark, which seems daft in this climate but often happens due to dark glass on windows and overhanging balconies. Unfortunately we can't move in until mid Jan so Xmas will be here. At least we can now make arrangements. I am SO not ready for Xmas!!

Currently reading a novel set here in Dubai - Sand Fish. The author's English is obviously her second language or at least affected by her culture but it's a fascinating read as a resident here. Set up in the unforgiving mountains where we see old rock houses crumbling into the earth. It is full of stuff about the culture as it was in the 1950's.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Goodnight xx
You are brilliant!!

A short comment as the weather forecast is predicting a nasty mixture of snow, rain, and ice heading our way. Need to stock up on provisions as the cupboard is bare. Such meteorological prognostications produce mad dashing about in the supermarkets, not to mention the traffic. Quite similar to hurricane warnings in the South. Before 9/11, car horns announced the arrival of the "out-of-towners." Now, that so many downstaters migrated upstate, it is a veritable zoo. Saratoga Springs' streets were never designed for Hummers and the like. In deference to Frog, I no longer play dare with them in my little Honda. But today, he is not going with me...

Adieu,
Irena
And the envelopes...well, they are a total disgrace.
You saw my new profile picture, and you ran to your Christmas cards....
Here I am!!
Got back this morning at 8.30am and had to pick the boys up from school at 12.30 after 1 1/2 hrs sleep (plus cat-naps on plane). Crashed out when they left at 5pm - no cooking, no Nat Hist Grp, which was on this evening - just SLEEP!!
But now I've popped back up again :)

Angry with OH as he went off on his boat (new toy!) today instead of looking at a house so I'm on strike tomorrow, not looking at houses either. Goodness knows where we'll be for Xmas!
And just to add to the trauma - the two families who have each had us for Xmas lunch countless times are here but at a loose end without their children so I ought to return the favour, but WHERE? And how do I cook Xmas meal for 11 followed by lunch time Boxing Day party (our tradition) the next day. It's a 4hr clear-up job after a Xmas meal. Merry Xmas me!!

Should finish The Crying Tree tonight, it's been a good read.
Than I need to sit down and decide what's next - a bunch of reading group reads coming up and a couple of books I started while I was away. I love planning my reading :)

Your messages have been busy below!!
M A xx
Lyn,
I contacted you because I read your review of Vintner's luck. A book not to everyone's taste but your views chimed well with mine. I too found the book most affecting.I admired the trouble you had taken to convey the essence of the book with enviable clarity.
"will this do?"
David
I am loving Larsson! I think, one of the reasons why I wanted his book in the first place is because one of my friends' last name was Larsson and he's swedish too. We haven't talked in a while though. and then I realised it was widely recommended so I thought I should dig into it. It's hard to put down, but it is boyfriend's birthday hahaha.

Weather here is more well-known as "Canberra" hahahaha. I guess it's the nature's way of saying "i hate you bureaucrats" haha!

p.s I reckon those in public service behind the desks should be forced to exchange work with us every now and then so they had know what they put us through.

~Ani~
Hi Lyn, Thanks for the comment on the BM Feedback thread. I'm adding you to my interesting library collection and anticipate hours of happy browsing.
Kasey Azevedo (KAzevedo)
Your angeled book The Birth Of Venus has been accepted. I'll let you know when it arrives.
moochmas? that sounds like an alien christmas haha! glad you liked the book, I thought it was just too good to be hoarded. I am doing fine, just the silly season and I work in a nursing home, so we are all stretched to bits now. not to mention, for some odd reason, work decided to start doing renovations now so all the disturbed residents are more disturbed!

I don't know why Australian Hole would direct people to norway or something, but I am guessing it's because if I dig a hole from here to the other side of Earth, it would be norway? :p but otherwise, I am in Canberra and thusly, I have been suffering wonderful lows of 5 degrees and highs of 37. go figure hahaha.

Remember to drink alot of ice and stay underwater!

p.s Charlaine Harris is awesome!
*flump* just dropping by to see how you are going! hope you are enjoying eat, pray, love too!
Hi Lyn!

Thanks for your message - I am very well, thanks! The studies are...ongoing is probably the best thing I can say. I have been ridiculously busy (not reading sadly, unless books about library management count? I'm pretty sure they don't), hence my absence from the LT threads. Reading forums (even lovely ones like we have here!) tend to make me cranky when I'm stressed, so best for all concerned if I stay away :) But I'm touched you noticed that I wasn't about as much.

How are things with you? Any triumphant BM finds recently?

Lindsay
:)

Glad your books arrived quickly.
Enjoy your little bit of Xmas - hope you haven't read it before.
It had the added benefit of making the books level inside the parcel!!
Yes, officially homeless on 30th Nov but the landlord has given us until the end of Dec now.
A breather!

Off late Thurs night, but probably not completely incommunicado until the end of the week when we are in London in a hotel.

I have realised why I'm suddenly getting e mail notifications - because I decided to add my e mail address to my profile. I think I shall disconnect the notification - I like finding the yellow strips as a surprise :)

Just finished Sarah Dunant's Sacred Hearts. Have you read any of hers? Her older books were crime stories but the last 3 have been very good HF set in Renaisance Italy. Very good - worth looking out for. My favourite was The Birth of venus but all three are excellent.

Off to bed - a full day of house hunting tomorrow :(
The Alchemist reads like a fairy story but is a "meaning of life" book. Not a good combination IMHO.

You'd probably like Virgin Blue as it's a bit of a who-done-it. Fallen Angels is about the suffragette fight for the vote in London. I just listened to an abridged version of The Girl With a Pearl Earring (having read the book and seen the film) - I think it gets better each time! Lady and the Unicorn is Historical Fiction based around a tapestry but I lost the book half way through for a couple of months so I kind of lost the plot on that one. Remarkable Creatures is about the fossils found on Lyme Regis Beach and the two ladies, from very different backgrounds, who searched for them - good but not her best. Haven't read Burning Bright but it gets terrible reviews on Amazon UK.
I read Virgin Blue first and that'd be my recommendation for you too.

No sign of a villa yet but we have decided to try a different area tomorrow and we may be able to find a larger place for the same money there. Less of an ex-pat area and less well developed but up-and-coming. Might be a bit dusty for a couple of years as it was desert before it was built on. Will know more tomorrow - have an appt at 9.20 and 3.30.
Will keep you posted.

Off to UK on Fri so might go a bit quiet for a few days.
Thurs is Eid so we're all off then and next Weds is National Day - but we'll be away, still, it means we don't take as much holiday time. The flags are everywhere already, which is nice. I like a bit of patriotism, I don't think it's politically correct in UK these days!!

Enjoy your reading
xxx
OK, I'm back....

Right, lots of suggestions here :)
How about The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne, excellent, I think you'll find it in the b/room (bathroom!?). Or Year of Wonders, brilliant book by Geraldine Brooks.
Fallen Angels or Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier - take a look in the living room, on the prisoner of war bookshelf.
Oh, oh, Water for Elephants - you have to read that! Britta sent it so that'll keep her happy too :) and Snow Flower - you haven't read that yet.
Ugh, the Alchemist - bin that!!
Secret Life of Bees is great too, I've read that twice, and A Thousand Splendid Suns, also brilliant.

That should keep you busy til Xams at least.
When I've stopped house hunting I hope I'll be able to read Girl in a Blue Dress.
We saw a good place yesterday but I was back there today and it's right by a mosque - the call to prayer is really loud! OH will not like that. huge house, with pool, shame :(

Thanks for the +ve comments - keep them coming!
Let me know what you decide to read too.
M A xxx
What about the books you are considering on your profile??

OK, I'm going to see what we've got in common and will make some recommendations :)
Back in a mo.....
Hmmmm,
Just got an e mail notification of your msg.
That's a first.
And I think I prefer to come on here and find a yellow strip rather than getting an e mail.

Anyway, what's happening?
Well, still villa hunting.
Found another possible one last night.
We shall see.

Not much time to read and with 5 books on the go I don't seem to be finishing anything!
Sacred Hearts was a bit hard going to start with but I'm enjoying that - set in a convent (different).
Age of Orphans is too poetic. Interesting subject so I'm persevering, but not my style. Iranian lad becomes a soldier for the Shah's army when all the men of his family are massacred by the Shah's soldiers. He grows up as a soldier, marries a girl from Tehran and then goes back to his homeland to enforce the Shah's rule. 50pgs left.
Sea Change is a typical teen book, not very demanding, not very exciting.
Underwater (a Vine review) hardly statrted.
Bog Child I need to read to swap with someone - everyone wants to read this book - I'll let you know why when I'm done!

And that's a bout it.
Haven't even thought of Xmas - don't even know where we'll be living :(
Better go and see if there are any new villas on the internet today.
Byeeeeeee
You are a darling! If it really isn't too much, okay, thank you so much. And, honestly, I won't need to get them in a hurry, so just whenever you're able would be happy for me. :) I've e-mailed the BMer with your user name, and hope s/he'll get back to me soon.

Kat

P.S. Tag!
If I recall correctly, these actually are kind of heavy books. If it would make things easier on you, even angeling half of them would be really wonderful. I'd hate to put too much financial strain on you, and I definitely don't need them in a hurry. :) Just let me know what would work best for you.
Hi Lyn,
Thanks for the lovely long note that I read this morning before I left for my day at the school. I am going out of town tomorrow with a million things to do before then, but I promise to send a decent reply as soon as I can.

Thanks so much for mooching that book for me. Please read it first if it interests you :)

Hugs,
Michelle
No worries, Girlfriend! I was just "making conversation" about the eclectic books :)

I have sooooo been missing in action on here and everywhere. I've taken on some projects at the kids' school and it seems everything is due yesterday. You've been busy too - hope back to work went okay for you?????

We'll catch up soon!

Love,
"Moi"
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments in the Green Dragon. I am glad you found that group, as you can see, it is a very loving group of intelligent and silly people. :) I look forward to knowing you better when I am able to participate once again. Lee
Lyn- I got so many packages this Thursday and Friday that the mailman had to put them on the porch because they wouldn't fit in the mailbox. I actually keep all my BM books at my office since my stash of envelopes and tape, etc. is there, and I use the post office on campus. The clerk asked me on Friday if I knew anyone in the US since I always seem to be sending overseas. And I'm excited about the BM Angel logo on my profile too. It took me a while to figure out how to get it; I think I may have gotten the HTML coding off your profile to add it.

Kristin
Lyn- I received A Letter of Mary and Brooklyn that I am angeling for you on Friday. I have posted them to my inventory (turtlegirl) as Angel Books #3 and 6 reserved for you. Everything is packaged and I should get to the PO tomorrow to send it.

Kristin
Love Tracy Chevalier!
Yes!!
Little yellow strip!!
I'm so easily pleased :)

I had noticed you were quiet about SG so I was too, only mentioned it because you said you were clearing out. Don't worry, just working on the principle of "if you don't ask, you don't get"!! Not like I'm short of reads :)
Did I mention that I had a spare Peony in Love? Or have you already got ot? Or did I put you off cos I didn't enjoy it??
Just a thought - has your friend (has she got a name!!??) read Secret Fan? I have a copy I could send her in exchange if that helps.

Yes, my computer certainly has a mind of its own!

Can't help you re my list - not my genre at all. I bought them for my friend and for swapping.
Guess you'll have to consult Amazon or LT or Goodreads. Have you noticed there seems to be more feedback and reviews on Goodreads? But it's hard to access people's lists unless thay are you friends. You can follow them though. Don't know, haven't really got my head around it yet.

Really looking forward to the Sarah Dunant ('fraid it's a borrowed copy so can't offer that) after Guernica (50 pgs to go!) and In the Kitchen, which was also a slog.
Then Incendiary - I loved The Other Hand.

Busy? Yes, still searching for the perfect villa for you to visit us in!!
It must be out there somwhere????
The washing machine calls and I feel a shelving session coming on - it has taken me 2 weeks to list all my new books on my spreadsheet!!
Speak again soon,
M A xx
Weird, when the msg came up, the list was fine, not messed up at all.
So ignore the last comment.

M A xx

No, I picked up a trade PB size, which I'm keeping but happened upon a small one, which I bought for you. I was hoping you'd be happy - I was very pleased with myself!!

Yes, last day today - a total of 4 days and I've spent a fortune!!
My son came into the spare room today and saw the stacks that I'd been hiding. Ooops!

I've bought a load for my friend here but I don't need so many for her so the extras will go for swapping.
I'll copy you a list and you can skim off any you fancy - she won't be any the wiser!!

My profile pics do seem to have a mind of their own!
I haven't made them any bigger but one time I came on they had split themselves so only 4 showed per row - and now they seem to be 6!!

I have completely stalled on Guernica, lots of ppl seem to think it's great but some of us are struggling with it (have been reading it for an on-line BG and a local one). That'll definitely be up for swap in the near future (if I ever finish it!!)

And, no, still have to go in my son's room for DR a/c - haven't tried your fix yet though. It's having a serious effect on my Mooches, very few outstanding now compared with usual :(
Will list the Mankell on PW.
Hi there,
Went back to the sale again yeserday and spotted a copy of The Pyramid by Mankell.
Do you still want it?
Absolutely DELIGHTFUL!

Thank you so much for the very sweet and thoughtful animated card. Watching all of the action really did cheer me up - and I loved the music, too.

It WAS in my inbox, but I must have overlooked it yesterday. I have 98 unread messages because I haven't been doing too much on here. Tummy troubles now, but the fever's finally gone. Yay!

Thanks again, Lyn - so very nice of you to send it to me!

Take care,
Michelle
P.S. Is it rude of me to ask how much a membership is? I'd love to send that exact card on to some other sick friends. I've really never seen another card like it :)
We've finally been accepted!
Book owner: Gef (Canada)
Will send: in a few days
Book: Nightworld
Lyn- I just got back from the dentist and it was gone. (Although I have a copy of it that I can try to read and reserve for you. But I don't know how long it would be.) Keep looking and let me know. I plan to get a lot of reading done over the Christmas break.

Kristin
Hey Lyn!
I've missed you - haven't seen you on here much or received any e-mails from you, so I'm missing your cheery "voice". Hope you're enjoying your vacation!
Hugs,
Michelle
Hi Lyn - 'The Black Echo' is up on BM now and ready to be sent as soon as mooched.

Helen
Hi Lyn - Just read your lovely review of The Vintner's Luck. I finished the book last night (it had been on my tbr pile for a long long time)and felt your review echoed my sentiments exactly. I have the sequel, The Angel's Cut, which came out earlier this year and feel like diving straight into it!

Kerry
Just looked at your WL, most of the authors are unknown to me but I've listed the ones you're looking for 2 or more books from - if I get books you already have I can always Mooch them or give them to my friend here who reads your sort of books rather than mine!

I noticed you'd listed a book by Jennifer Donnelly, The Wild Rose - I think you mean The Winter Rose - there's no Wild Rose listed on Amazon. I have a copy of that on my tbr and I'll put your name on it but I'd keep searching as it could be a LONG WAIT!!
Yes, I'm back!
Hope you're enjoying your holiday.

That's a kind thought to copy off my wish list, I'm always on the look-out for those titles.
Ironically I have a big book clearance sale here tomorrow too.
I'll have to have a skim of your WL though as our printer is U.S. (again!)

I have to admit I'd finally given up on those books this week :)
I can't fit Girl in a Blue Dress into my reading schedule right now but hopefully soon.
You can get yours out of moth balls now!! Let's hope it's a good one after all the suspense.

M A xx
Lyn- I have received Drawers & Booths that I angeled for you. It is in my inventory as Angel Book 1 reserved for you. Let me know if anything else becomes available that you would like me to get for you. Don't forget, I'm turtlegirl on BM.

Kristin
OK, great, managed that too (on the second attempt!)
Now - about that ticket.........!
Oh pooh,

I forgot to add the bags of mini-carrots!!! Next time....

I don't know why I am in such a good mood today; must be those Australian vibes!! Nice change...

Irene
Hi Lyn

Just thought I would pay you a virtual visit and get an update on your recent bookish pursuits. Great review of the Gaiman and you have four thumbs already....well done! Liam and I were in the bookshop the other day and he has shown interest in this novel and it is also included in the BooksAlive campaign which is currently running. So I think I will get his for him and it will be one we can both read.
I finished reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and a five star book for me. Loved it for its page turning quality and cant wait to read the next two books when I have caught up on bookgroup reads. I have The Girl Who Played with Fire on the shelf and have ordered The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest from Booktopia as it is reduced to $19.99 so even with postage a saving on the full bookshop price. I am currently reading Sophie's Choice by William Stryon and loving it and I know I will be giving this one a crown of stars also. I saw the film many years ago starring Meryl Streep and I think I will look for it again.
BTW I have been watching the first season of True Blood and have one disc left to watch. I was a bit hesitant as I have only read the first book but the first series only covers this first book and the second season is several months away from release here in Australia so that gives me time to catch up on the reading. It is great and very adults only with an R rating. Very funny, sexy and romantic and interesting exploring the vampire myth. I googled the show and good to see that a third season has been confirmed.

Have a good weekend and lots of reading

Jenny *_*
A Senior Moment:

A 98 year old woman in the UK wrote this to her bank.
The bank manager thought it amusing enough to have it
published in the Times.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to thank you for bouncing my cheque with
which I endeavoured to pay my plumber last month. By my
calculations, three nanoseconds must have elapsed
between his presenting the cheque and the arrival in my
account of the funds needed to honour it. I refer, of
course, to the automatic monthly deposit of my Pension,
an arrangement, which, I admit, has been in place for
only thirty eight years. You are to be commended for
seizing that brief window of opportunity, and also for
debiting my account £30 by way of penalty for the
inconvenience caused to your bank.

My thankfulness springs from the manner in which this
incident has caused me to rethink my errant financial
ways. I noticed that whereas I personally attend to
your telephone calls and letters, when I try to contact
you, I am confronted by the impersonal, overcharging,
pre-recorded, faceless entity which your bank has
become. From now on, I, like you, choose only to deal
with a flesh-and-blood person.

My mortgage and loan payments will therefore and
hereafter no longer be automatic, but will arrive at
your bank by cheque, addressed personally and
confidentially to an employee at your bank whom you must
nominate. Be aware that it is an offence under the
Postal Act for any other person to open such an
envelope. Please find attached an Application Contact
Status which I require your chosen employee to complete.
I am sorry it runs to eight pages, but in order that I
know as much about him or her as your bank knows about
me, there is no alternative. Please note that all
copies of his or her medical history must be
countersigned by a Solicitor, and the mandatory details
of his/her financial situation (income, debts, assets
and liabilities) must be accompanied by documented
proof.

In due course, I will issue your employee with PIN
number which he/she must quote in dealings with me. I
regret that it cannot be shorter than 28 digits but,
again, I have modelled it on the number of button
presses required of me to access my account balance on
your phone bank service. As they say, imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery.

Let me level the playing field even further. When you
call me, press buttons as follows:
1. To make an appointment to see me.
2. To query a missing payme
3. To transfer the call to my living room in case I am
there.

Hello Lyn,

ah yes... cookbooks....! :D A friend put me on to Bill Granger's books recently. Fortunately my local library stocked most of them so I got to try them out. And then the Book Depository had a few of them at reduced prices AND the Ozzie dollar was up, and all of a sudden before I knew it a few cookbooks found their way into my Book Depository shopping basket! ;D

I see you've added some AWW cookbooks. I started collecting them when I got married, in fact, we got some as wedding presents and I still use them so much so that my copy of the original 'Cakes & Slices' is starting to fall apart. The reprinted/updated edition is good but doesn't have nearly as many recipes as the original one.

Happy cooking & happy reading!

Laura
Hi Lyn

just stopping by to see how you got on in the dust storms. Apparently the dust originated in SA. Sorry 'bout that! ;)

Hey there, just wanted to say thanks so much for the Smooch on bookmooch! You rock! Thanks as well for directing me to the correct thread for posting my bookmooch inventory. Everyone gave really odd responses to my post in the Angel thread..no wonder. I totally didn't understand the purpose of that thread at first...so my post was completely out of place. Gah, I hate being new to things! Lol.

Hope all is well!

-Joe :)
Lyn,

I don't particularly care about hardback vs. paperback, I would just like to read People of the Book. If you could reserve it for me, I'll definitely mooch it from you.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Kristin
Hi Lyn,

If you come across another wishlist item from somewhere you want me to get for you, let me know by all means, but please don't feel you have to- I'm quite happy to send Cloud Atlas by itself :)

Stef
Reserved the Music of Chance for you, and I'm planning a trip to the post office this week! ;)

Hello, Back!

Your message made me smile - witty, plus so nice to get a little note first thing in the morning :)

Yeah, about that book....first off, YA, which I can sometimes tolerate, but NOT well-written at all. I was trying to think back to my YA self (uhhh, since you asked, about 30 years ago!) and consider whether it would have cut it for me back then, and sadly, I think that it would have. Which probably explains why I'm the only one, I think, to give it one lowly star on LT.

Anyways, you have a great day and talk soon,
Michelle
Lyn,

I don't mind sending just a single book, but two books works for me. I just sent a single book to the UK the other day and I was surprised at how little it cost. But it's even better if it helps you to get 2 books that you otherwise could not have gotten.

Kristin
My unsure collection is books I'm not sure if want to keep. I read a lot of books that are part of a trilogy, and usually if the first book is interesting, but not great, I might want to read the other three to make a final decision on keeping them. If you find anything you like in my unsure collection, let me know, I usually don't keep them.

Oh, and thanks for the angel mooch!
