I didn't get it either but I think I do now.
I think the girl is in an mental assylum and Short Stack are a figment of her imagination and then she is sedated by the doctors b/c she is insane but when she sees them going out the door, they are either real or the injection is making her sane. Well, that's what I think anyway. :)
Um, I'm going to the cinemas with Casey today and I'm not free on Friday so maybe Sunday? I could come over or you could come over. Ring me anytime. :) Expect for Friday.

): Is there going to be a Mortal Instruments movie?

The film rights to The Mortal Instruments have been optioned by Unique Features. This is a film production company set up by former founders and co-presidents of New Line Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne, who oversaw the production of the Lord of the Rings movies — probably my favorite fantasy movies of all time. They’re very dedicated to fantasy and they understand it, and I definitely trust them with the story of the Mortal Instruments.

Now, a book series being optioned doesn’t mean a film is being made right now or is definitely going to be made at all — it means that the studio or production company in question is developing the books as a film project — right now they’ve nailed down financing and a screenwriter (I don’t know who that is yet) and are working towards the next stages in the development project. It is, however, an important step in the movie-making process, so I feel like it’s okay to be excited about it. :)

I don’t believe that. As I said above, the MI books are optioned by the guys at least party responsible for movies I consider to be some of the best book-to-film adaptations of all time (the Lord of the Rings films.) I do understand what it’s like to see a film based on a book you loved and feel like the book wasn’t treated right, but there are also wonderful book-to-film adaptations out there: Let the Right One In, The Shawshank Redemption, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Last Picture Show, Psycho, Lord of the Rings. The Princess Bride. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Watership Down. The Iron Giant. Hellboy. The Shining. Carrie. Blade Runner. A Clockwork Orange. The Maltese Falcon. LA Confidential. The Hours. Atonement. Brokeback Mountain. Trainspotting. The Sweet Hereafter. Brideshead Revisited. Goodfellas. The Silence of the Lambs. A Room with a View. Movies are not a lesser art form than books; they are a different art form than books. If you don’t risk having a bad movie made out of your book, you’ll never get a good movie made out of your book, either.

(It is also worth noting that this argument is academic anyway. I no longer own the rights to make films or TV shows out of my books, or have the authority to decide whether it happens. Unique Features does. That’s what it means to sell your film/tv rights. The decision is theirs to make. It is not mine.)

I KNOW! Gotta love them! I love how Ryland asks William a question and then after William answers, he just looks around and then goes, "Delicious!"
I like how Gabe gets distracted through William's answer and William gets a bit annoyed and grabs the microphone but then Gabe shakes him off and says right into the camera, "That lady's blouse just fell down and I saw her boobie!" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL :D :D :D
There has this one where Gabe is just walking around in NYC eating and then all these fangirls come up with a camera and start asking him questions and they're all loud and excited and asking him questions and he just keeps on eating his burrito-thing and answers after like five minutes. They're like, "Oh, we heard that you and Vicky-T go out or something?" And he is just chewing and then goes, "Oh, no, never. I have a girlfriend." And all of the girls go, "Really? Really? What's her name?" And then he just chews real slow again and says, "Bianca."
He says Bianca in this really cute way like "Beeunca." It's soooo adorable! I HATE BIANCA!!

PS: I love how at the end of the Gabe/William video they just sing really loudly and everyone's looking at them weirdly. :D

BTW, just watched the Beastly thing, it looks GOOD! It might be just what it takes to proprel Alex Pettyfer into American stardom and hopefully he does a good job so Clare falls madly in love with him and decides he is the ONE for Jace (which we know already ;)
Also, the Good Girls Go Bad music video premiers (sp?) on Monday 29th June which is Tuesday here..I think so just a few more days!

hmm. My brother is graduating from 6th grade. In our town (why does that not look right)after 6th you go to jr high but jr high is mixed with sr high, so he's basically going to the high school. The problem I have with this is that he hasn't changed a bit, spelled sugar wrong and doesn't know how to divide 42 and 2 in his mind.?

Hmm..I'm sort of the same..HOLD THE PHONE! I haven't been on newmoonmovie.org since Friday! I still love Twilight but I'm not obsessive over it that much but in a few months..I will be again. :) Meh. If we get over it, then we get over it. But I think it will be like this (like how you said on Friday). We got obsessed with Twilight, was overly hooked for months, then started getting bored with it, then New Moon will nearly be out, we'll get obsessed again, be overly hooked for months, then get over New Moon and be obsessed with Twilight again and then so forth. :)

That's cool. :) Yeah, I went back and changed most of the Toni's to Vy, which is her nickname b/c I like nicknames. :P Oh..yep, I'll change that. I made Vy & Ana best friends..I didn't plan it, it just happened! I finished writing the ending, so now I have stuff in the middle and start to do..oh, well, most novels take around 6 months to write (*faints at the thought*) but I'm gonna stick it out to the end!

I just got Memoirs of a Geisha on DVD and it's :O I can see why Toni loves it so much. It's as good as the book! *floats off to dreamy-place thing*

When you add a pic, there are four fields with code. It's the third box down if I remember correctly, but could be the second one down so you could experiment with both to see what works.

OME, today was sooo boring. I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! Well, class was fun but I hung out with Toni and she hangs out with the weirdest people. Seriously..I was so bored. OME!!! Bolly and Emma H went out! They started going out yesterday, made out but then Bolly dumped her today. Science was so fun, we went totally spazz with Tristan and Kurtis. It's just rated R b/c you see people commit suicide, one guy turns on one of the those big ride-on lawnmowers and lays down in front of it and you see him get hacked up..it's sweet - JOKES! :D It made my toes curl and I was like, "GAH!"

No it's a new movie, it's not released yet, on her myspace she said sometime in '09/ And RPattz is in a new movie named Remember Me. Aaah, I want 3 o'clock to come! And I just picked up 10,000 B.C which is a romance set back in prehistoric times with Camilla Belle as the main girl. I wanna see if she is a good actress or not. :)

Ew, ew, ew. Ashley Greene is in a new horror/thriller movie and it is full of incest. She plays this girl called Summer who gets a letter from her estranged father and she goes to visit him and along the way she gets a lift from a guy (Tom), they go back to his house and um yeah, then his mother (who's also his girlfriend - you know what I mean) knocks her unconsicous and adds her to Tom's human flower garden where another girl is. Turns out Tom's dad is also Summer's dad (EW!) and Summer's dad is sort of into Summer and Summer tries to get closer to Tom so that she can survive. NMM.org have a trailer, it is so EWWWW. Watch it.

I KNOOOOWWW! I need new jeans, I got new trackies and a jacket but I need MORE! I saw this BEAUITFUL jacket in some surf shop, it was a plaid design in pastel colours (white, light pink, lavendar, baby blue etc.) and it had grey fur in the hood and these big awesome buttons and it felt like HEAVEN but .. it was NINETY dollars! For a jacket! Just b/c it had Ripcurl stitched on the front! HUMPH!

I did :) And YAY! :D Anyhoo, I went to Pullman's, they wouldn't return the shirt but I went on Hot Topic and the same shirt, the Cullens were tan as well so - meh! They are getting in the twin set Edward & Bella dolls (they have the Edward one already in!), all the jewelery (e.g. Alice's choker, Rosalie's locket, the guy's bands etc) and they have new stuff; pins, more collecter's cards, an Edward shirt, the umbrella and other stuff I can't remember. My parents said I can't buy anymore Twilight stuff! Well, only like once every like three months or something!!!!!

You are crazy, I'm reading it right now, but I won't ruin your PRECIOUS no-I'm-no-going-to-read-it. Awww, poor Leah! Does that mean you can't go shopping on Saturday? AAAAAH. And I probably think asking your mum for the t-shirt is a bit out of the question now. What to do .. (does she like tea) if so, make her a cup of tea when she's calmed down a bit (and after you've cleaned your room), give her a kiss and say, "I love you." and leave her alone for a bit. Then, when you see her next, ask her about the t-shirt and she'll probably forget about being angry and get it for you. That's what I always do and it works PERFECTLY. HAHA :) I'm such a suck-up!

Harris Scarves is having a sale on Wednesday and they go down from $130 to $30!!!! And my 'rents are gonna buy me either an Addidas or Converse track suit! YAY! Funny stuff, I just got ten extra dollars so I will buy it :) God, daddy's girl much? LOL :) My 'rents are all like, "No, if you want to buy Twilight stuff, spend your own money" so humph *sticks out lower lip*. But that's pretty weird since my money is THEIR money in the first place. But I know if I go, PLEEEEEEAAAASE they'll give me money - but not to spend on Twilight stuff. SO YEAAAHHH. And I agree, my idea about the Twilight release is an awesome idea but I have to add to it: Since you go to your mum's on Tuesday, how about (since your dad lives near me) my 'rents drop me off at your dad's and we can all drive to your mum's together (with Scratchy - GRRRRRR :D) and then I sleep at your house and go home after the Twilight release and after we watch it at your house etc. etc. etc. I would like to stay at your house until after dinner (we can eat at Elizabeth) and everything. SO YEAAAHHHH. Okay, I'm doing this GIANT plan and it might not even work. I might just go to your house and not sleep but I haven't had a sleep over since like last holidays and I feel DEPRESSED about it. But I'm sleeping at Toni's anyway, since her bday party is a sleepover .. so I'll see you quite a bit in the hoildays ... great. So I'll just pay you all now (or on Monday or Tuesday or whatever). Yeah, that's better. HOPEFULLY, my 'rents take pity on me and give me CASH for the holidays. But we have three weeks left of school anyway so I'll have $50 again by the hoildays and that's enough for the DVD AND the hoildays. HMMMM. It's bigger than A3 but not quite as big as my Edward poster. My wall is nearly full. I want my whole room plastered with Twilight posters! Yeah, I saw that first one. It was HILARIOUS :) I know, they ALL smoke, I was like, "GOSH!" I don't care b/c they're allowed to. No, only drinking is 21 or over in America (I think). Kristen doesn't seem like the type to smoke. Yeah, one of the people in the music video was Jesus. ROFL :) I can't wait until my t-shirt comes in!!!! Guess what? My dad snuck into the cinemas (GOSH, Leah, what's with "we could get arrested!"?) and he watched half an hour of Twilight. He didn't get it. He asked me like a BAJILLION questions. My brother had to watch it since he wasn't allowed into Watchmen, he could of gone in if my mum went with him but he was silly enough to say she wasn't. Tut, tut :) Fika and Jess watched Twilight as well. TODAY WAS SOOO HILARIOUS! I love annoying Toni and Bolly!!! Gosh!!! SO FUNNY! I kissed a vampire and I liked it - LOL :) I DEFINITELY need to go to Elizabeth more often. But my parents said, "It's too far away and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH." So I probably can't go there THAT much. Yeah, I'm glad they cut those scenes as well. The two deleted ones were the meadow scene weird one and something else I can't remember. And there had on that was like official, it was like nearly 10 minutes long and Catherine Hardwick narrorated it. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY. I can't wait to see my Twilight shop! WEEEEEE! I saw the favourite cereal interview. It was soooo funny! His fav UK cereal is Start, that is so lame. Start is gross. LOL :) And he said his fav toy growing up was a deck of cards that he used to pretend were other things. Can you imagine a little RPattz pretending a card was a monkey or something? OME! LOL :) I was watched Ice Age: The Meltdown yesterday and the mammoth was running and it looked SOOOOO HILARIOUS. I was crying. It was the funniest! And I was laughing about when Jon said to Steph, "Roll on the floor and die!" and then later, "I thought I told you to go die!" I cracked up about it for like three hours. My brother thought I was insane .. so do I! OME! I am just rambling on about random stuff and guess what? Barbie is 50 today!!!!!! Plastic is fantastic! Peace out! And I found that Pope noob photo. Hello there. Below I've listed what I've learned since I joined, which I thought I'd share with my buddies as you might find it useful. It's really long, so I'd recommend opening up a Word document (you need to open Word first for it to work), then highlighting this whole message and pasting it in a new document in Word. Then you can print it so you can display it in front of you while you explore stuff. The links might not work that way, but if you keep this message on your Profile page, you can click on them on your page to get to them.

1. ADDING BOOKS: When adding books to your library, it's easier if you type the ISBN number in the white box after clicking on the "Add books" tab at the top of your page. That way, it will find the edition you own (useful if a book has many editions, i.e. The Hobbit). You can find the ISBN number on the back cover of your book at the very bottom. It's right above the bar code.

2. TAGS: You can sort each book by tags if you wish and can add as many tags to each book as you like. Just click on the book title in the "Add books" section or the pencil to the right of the book row in the "Your library" section to get to the section where you can add stuff. Then in the tags box, add the tags you wish, separating each one with a comma and space. For instance, for Lord of the Rings, you might do this: fantasy, mythical creatures, own, books read in 2009. For those I own, I add "own" as a tag and adding "books read in 2009" helps you track books you read by year. For those books I add that I don't own, but want to read, I add "must read" and "library - next order" as tags. Then when I want to order books online from my library (they email me when they're ready to be picked up coz some come from different branches and/or are on a waiting list), I go to that tag to order the ones I feel like reading next.

3. TAGS TAB: The Tags tab shows you your tags. If you decide you'd like to rename it, hover over the tab and click on Edit. Then type the new name in the box that pops up.

4. GROUPS TAB: The Groups tab is a good thing to explore as well. Once you click on it, click on Complete List on the right and you'll all the groups on Library Thing. There are tons. After clicking on one that interests you, if you decide you'd like to join it, just click on Join This Group at the top right. You can click on Leave This Group in the same spot if you decide to leave it later.

5. RECOMMENDED GROUPS: If you're a Twilight fan, I'd highly recommend joining Twilight Club (there's one where TwilightClub is one word, but I mean the one where it's two words), New Moon Movie and Edward Cullens Lovers. Those are the most active. Also, I check Twilight news daily and am constantly adding the latest news I find to Twilight Club and sometimes New Moon Movies as well so you can keep up with the latest that way.

There are loads of other Twilight/vampire groups as well plus you might find one for your fave author on the list. There are also groups for children's fiction and teen readers, plus fantasy and fairytales fans among the list.

A really good group to join is "Name that book". If you're struggling to remember a book title, you can add a thread to it with information you remember about a book and ask members if it rings any bells. You'd be surprised how many know which book you mean based on the smallest amount of information or age of the book.

6. CREATING YOUR OWN GROUP: If you'd like to create your own group, it's easy. Just go to the "Groups" tab at the top and click on "Create a new group" on the right. It's best to click on "Complete list" first though to see if there's one for the same topic already. There are many Twilight groups, for instance, so members can miss out on current news if they're not part of all of them. It's easier to track stuff when there's one, or one by age group if members want to categorize them that way.

7. TALK TAB: The Talk tab shows you threads that have the latest chat for the groups you're in so you can track conversations that way.

8. LOCAL TAB: If you click on Local, you can add local bookstores, but as you're a child/teen (since I'm not sure which), I'd advise you not to add yours for safety reasons.

9. ADDING FRIENDS:

a. The easiest way to add friends though is when you're on someone's Profile page already that you want to add. Then you just click on "Add to Friends" at the top right.

b. Another way is to click on Find Friends under the Search tab at the top right on your Profile page, then Edit/View Connections at the top. It's best to do it this way rather than signing into your email account. I don't trust the security personally when it comes to typing in my password for another site. It's one more place where it can be hacked into. After clicking on Edit/View Connections, you can add your friend's name on the right. You could ask them to join the way I asked you, for instance. Then you could look up their Library Thing name to add them as a friend. After adding their name in that box, click on Search to find them. It will take you to their page. Then click on Add Friend's List at the top right.

10. MEMBERS WHO HAVE YOUR BOOKS IN THEIR LIBRARY: Once you've added books, it will show you on the right of your page which members share your books and how many they share. Sometimes I visit their pages to look at their libraries and read their page. Have made a few friends that way and also found some really good books in their libraries which I've added to my own for future reading. If you like someone's library, you can click on "Add to interesting libraries" on the right of their profile page (as you did with me) and it will appear on your page on the right under the Member Connections section.

11. HOME TAB: If you click on your "Home" tab, you'll see "Customize your page" in very small print near the top. You can change how your home page looks that way so it only includes information that interests you or that you want visitors to your page to see.

12. TOOLS TAB: There's a "Tools" tab at the top right that you may wish to check out. It teaches you how a lot of stuff works. Also, if you click on the Groups tab, then Site Talk on the left, you can ask questions there about things you don't understand or just to query whether it's possible to do something on this site. Have always gotten responses the same day.

13. HEADINGS BELOW TABS: Below your tabs at the top of your Profile page, you'll also see several headings to click on that you can explore as well.

14. ADVANCED COPIES OF BOOKS FOR FREE: Every month a list of advanced copies of books is posted. You can sign up for free advanced copies of books each month too. The second month I requested some, I got one in the mail. The catch is you have to write a review that's more than 40 words in your own words, but that's really easy. To sign up, go here, but it's best to ask your mom first coz you have to put your address: http://www.librarything.com/er/signup. They only use that to send you books though. Your name and address aren't published anywhere. They only publish your user name.

Once you've signed up, go to your "Profile" tab, then click on "Edit profile/account settings" on the right, then "Account" at the top left and then click inside the circle to the left of "Allow LibraryThing to give reviews to both non-commercial and commercial entities (booksellers, swap sites, publishers, authors, street gangs)", then Save Changes at the bottom. If you do that, you're more likely to get a book you've requested. I read it in the FAQ section.

They don't add many books for children/teens, but this month there are four or five on the list so you should take a peek. You'll see that many have requested books, but don't worry about that. They don't go on a first come, first served basis. It's based on books in your library, whether you've added reviews for books before and other reasons. To see the list of books of February, just click on this: http://www.librarything.com/er/list. Then go down the list and click on "Request it" for books that interest you. You can request as many as you like. The flags on the right below the Request it button show what countries the books are available in. There are a couple only available in Canada, for instance, so the publishers will only send those to people who live in Canada.

15. ADDING WHAT YOU'RE CURRENTLY READING TO YOUR PROFILE (see my profile for an example):

a. Click on Edit profile/account settings at the top right of your page and type something like this in EITHER the "About Me" box or the "About my library" box:

b. Add a blank line between the text and following code so it's not all bunched up together.

c. Copy the following code onto the next line, but in order for me to show you how the code looks, I need to add four spaces show it shows you the code so you'll have to delete those afterwards (the space after < at the beginning; the space before and the space after the < that's before img style; and the space before > at the end):

The line isn't supposed to be there. That is to show you where the code goes for the book you're currently reading. To get the code for that spot, go to the book in your library and click on the book title. Right click on the big book cover at the top left and choose "Copy Image Location" from the menu that pops up.

16. ADDING A WIDGET TO YOUR PROFILE: There are two New Moon widgets here if you'd like to add one or both to your profile that can be found at http://www.newmoonmovie.org/release-date....

At the top left of both widgets (pics with countdowns to the movies in this case), it says SHARE in tiny letters. Click on that, then either click on COPY or double click on the code in the box to copy it.

Now go to your profile page, click on "Edit profile/account settings" and put your cursor in the "About me" or "About my library" box at the place in that box where you'd like the widget to appear. Then click on Save at the bottom of the page.

If you click on your profile tab at the top now, voila! You'll see your snazzy new widget.

17. ADDING A MUSIC PLAYLIST TO YOUR PROFILE:

a. Click on http://www.myflashfetish.com.

b. Click on "Login" in the top right corner.

c. Click on "Sign Up Now" in the middle of the screen.

d. Fill in the information, but please don't upload a picture as it is not safe. For the email address, it's best to create a free MSN email address and use that one and not one your parents pay for that may also have your real name in it.

e. Once you've created an account, sign in on the left with your email address and password.

f. Click on the "Home" tab in the top left corner.

g. Type the name of a song in the search box near the top right corner, then click on "Search MP3".

h. You'll now see a list of songs. Some of these work and some don't so you need to test them first to find one that works. On the right of each one is a speaker icon and a cart icon. Click on the speaker icon next to one of those songs.

i. A vertical red stripe will appear on the left under that song with blue beside it. If it worked, the red stripe will quickly shoot across the horizontal box and then the blue will start to move to the right. This means that link works.

j. Double click inside the box above that horizontal box to highlight the code. You have now copied it.

k. Click on the MP3 tab at the top.

l. You will see a red thing in the middle of the page that looks like a key. Click on "Create" underneath that key.

m. You will see a box at the bottom with two columns and six rows. This is called a playlist and you can add up to six songs here by adding the title of each one on the left and the code to each song on the right. When someone goes to your page and stays there, the playlist will play through each of those six songs. In order to add six songs, you will need to open http://www.myflashfetish.com in another Internet window so you can use one window to search for songs and the other to add the code to this playlist. This is not necessary, however, if you want to add just one song.

n. Add the title of the song you just looked up to the left side of the top row.

o. Put your cursor in the top right box, right click your mouse (click on the right button) and choose "Paste". The code you copied earlier will now be in that box.

p. Once you have copied all the song titles and code into the boxes, you are ready to choose the color of your key.

q. On the left, drag the scroll bar down to see all the color choices and click on the one you'd like.

r. Below the boxes on the right is a button that says "Add MP3's". Click on that.

s. Everything in the boxes has now disappeared, but that's what's supposed to happen. In the bottom right corner, click on the red button that says "I'm Done".

t. You will now be on a page that has two boxes with code. Place your cursor inside the BOTTOM box (it will probably say "Embed Code" above it) and double click to copy the code. (Double clicking on top of that code is how you copy it. If that doesn't work, highlight the code, then right click on the highlighted part and choose COPY from the little menu that pops up.)

u. Now go to your profile page on Library Thing and click on "Edit profile/account settings" at the top right.

v. There are two places you can add this on your page. One is in the "About me" box and the other is the "About my library" box. Place your cursor at the spot in the box of your preference where you want the music to appear, right click your mouse (click on the right mouse button) and choose "Paste" from the little menu that pops up.

w. Click on "Save" below the box.

x. Click on the "Profile" tab at the top of the page and you will now see and hear your playlist. Woo!

Ok you can rest now. Phew!
